We would like to welcome our new Live-In Shelter Manger, Lindsay Blalock. Lindsay’s main function is to provide KDM personnel presence and supervision at site where resident daughters live and to chaperone during program activities. She will not only support and recommend with regard to KDM policy, procedure, and program goals but also provide emotional support and guidance to resident daughters within the program prescribed parameters. In addition Lindsay is responsible for the smooth operation and notification of maintenance needs of the home. If you see her out and about, please welcome her and keep her in your prayers as she works at the very heart of our ministry’s mission.
My name is Lindsay Blalock and I’m greatful to be a new edition to KDM staff. It’s my passion to help serve woman and show them the love of Christ. I know for myself I have struggled in the past and I was never able to find freedom until I fully surrendered my life to the Lord. In the past six months the doors have opened for me to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist, and continue to further my education to become Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC). I have been blessed with this opportunity and I give God all the glory.
